The property with two bedrooms is on the first floor of an ancient cottage recently restored. It is nestled in the hillside with spectacular views across the valley and down to the coast. In clear days you can see the Giglio island. It has its own private garden where you can sunbathe, have a barbecue, or just enjoy the lovely views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The cottage is part of a small hamlet, called Poderone, made of 9 independent cottages each restored to an excellent standard. The private pool is about 100 meters from the house. At the entrance of the hamlet there is a free parking for the tenants of Poderone. Inside the hamlet there are no paved roads. The cottage, furnished with antique furniture, has a traditional wooden ceiling and terracotta floors. The living room/kitchen corner has a double sofa bed, an armchair, a large dining table, an old cupboard and on one corner a fireplace. The kitchen includes fridge/freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a washing machine The living area is equipped with a flat TV and a DVD. From the living room a corridor leads to a bathroom and the two bedrooms. One bedroom has an ancient double bed, a wardrobe and a typical women toelette of the past. The other bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and a desk. All the windows have nets against mosquitoes, so you can leave the window open. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Towels and bed sheets are provided as well as a usb key drive for free internet access.

The swimming pool with changing rooms equipped with bathrooms and showers is 14x4 meters long and is open from May to September. Sun beds are available in the surrounding terrace.

From Florence:
You need to get out of the freeway at Firenze Certosa and take the free of charge highway Firenze -Siena (direction Siena) Once you reach Siena you continue for Grosseto until Paganico which is around 50 kilometers from Siena. You get out in Paganico and follow the directions Monte Amiata, Arcidosso. When you arrive in Arcidosso you follow the directions Roccalbegna and after around 10 kilometers you see the hamlet Poderone on your right.

Booking policies
For a two week stay there is a 7% discount on the weekly price.
Greater discounts are allowed for longer periods.
The guest can cancel free of charge up to 60 days before arrival in July and August and up to 30 days in the remaining months.
The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival. For July and August it is 60 days.
The guest has to make a prepayment of 20% of the total price after reservation.
The changeover day is Saturday.
Security deposit of 100 Euros payable on arrival.
Cleaning fee 50 Euro per stay.
All children allowed.
Pets are allowed on request. There is a fee of 20 Euro per stay for every pet.
Guests must provide their address and phone number when they book.
Wi-fi, towels and bed sheets are included in the price.
